This 239 acre city park is home to three miles of walking trails along Bacon Creek Lake, an off leash area/dog park, play equipment, and picnic shelters.
Chris Larsen Park boasts a variety of attractions for all ages including: the Anderson Dance Pavilion, riverfront walking/bike trail, picnic shelter, playground equipment, public boat ramp, public fish cleaning station, Flight 232 memorial, Sergeant Floyd Welcome Center, and the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center.
Cone Park offers family fun all year round! Located near the Lewis & Clark ball park, Cone Park offers a tubing hill, ice skating rink, an outdoor fire pit, and day lodge for warming, rentals, and concessions during the winter. During the non-winter months, the lodge is used as a rental facility and the ice skating rink is converted to a free public splash pad. A 2-mile trail loop is also available connecting with Sertoma Park to the east.
The Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center, located in Stone State Park, features interactive ecosystem exhibits, native animal exhibits, bird viewing area, outdoor amphitheater, butterfly and wildflower gardens, several miles of trails, and more.

The Sergeant Floyd Monument commemorates Sergeant Charles Floyd Jr., the only member of the Corps of Discovery to die on the journey. The monument is part of a 23-acre park which features a 100-foot obelisk that marks the final resting place of Sergeant Floyd Jr.
The Sergeant Floyd Museum and Welcome Center is located adjacent to the Chris Larsen Park picnic shelter and playground and the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. The museum is housed aboard the dry-docked motor vessel, the M.V. Sergeant Floyd.
The Fleet Farm Arena, formerly Gateway Arena, is a multi-purpose arena inside Tyson Events Center and is sponsored by Tyson Foods and Fleet Farm. The arena has three spectator levels: one suite level and two general seating levels named the 100 level and the 200 level, respectively.

War Eagle Monument honors the great chief. The monument depicts War Eagle with the eagle feather bonnet and ceremonial pipe, symbolizing his brave leadership and his commitment to peace. The monument is found on top of a high bluff overlooking the confluence of the Big Sioux and Missouri rivers.
