Join us for the 10th Annual SA-Fest 2025 presented by the Siouxland African Associate (SAFAS). This family-friendly event has free food, free drinks, free entertainment, and free bounce inflatables for the kids! Come celebrate African heritage with vibrant performances, great food, & cultural shopping.

• 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Festival Activity
• 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM – African Dance Hall

The festival includes:

• Delicious African Food

• Drum Performance by Groupe Le Panier De La Sagesse
• Dance Performance by Duniya Drum & Dance – an internationally acclaimed Minnesota-based African Cultural Group & crowd favorite from last year
• Hours of African Music & Dance led by DJ

The event is free, but accepts freewill donations.

Featuring a Kid’s Fun Run, 5K, 10K, 1/2 Marathon, and introducing “The Stooge.”
All courses will be Flat, Fast & Fun!

Starting and finishing at the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center and continuing on the Missouri River Trail next to it.

Proceeds will help support the efforts of the H.A.R.T. Foundation.  Helping Athlete’s Run & Train.  The 1/2 and Full Marathon will be certified courses.

 Build My Future gives students from grades 9 -12 the opportunity to have a day to work in the Construction Industry through an interactive showcase.  Participating schools will send students between the hours of 9:00 am to 2:00 pm we will provide hands-on learning labs by our industry partners. 

The student activities will include Design & Planning, Banking & Real Estate, Rough Framing, Excavation & Utilities, Finishes, Footings & Foundations, Building Envelope & Insulation, Landscaping, Mechanical Systems, Friends of Construction. Some of the learning labs may include things like learning to sheetrock, bricklaying, painting, working with construction equipment, and much more. 

This event is being held in the Fall of 2025 at the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center, 550 Expo Center Drive, Sioux City, IA.  

League Dates:  October 31 - January 9, 2026
